Jesus came to give us LIFE, we must continue to protect the life of the unborn babies threatened to be aborted. Many of the women who come to Heartbeat of Miami Pregnancy Help Medical Clinics seeking an abortion are being forced by someone else to end the life of their baby. God has given us the opportunity to intervene and rescue both lives, the child from physical death and the mother from spiritual death.

This month's story is a very dear one to me. It is the story of a young girl who risked everything to save the life of her baby. Jaz was 18 years old and a student in a local college on a scholarship striving to keep her good grades and continue to obtain a full scholarship with plans to go to University of Florida in Gainesville and study Pharmacy. However, Jaz became pregnant by her first and only boyfriend. Scared and with no support from her parents or the father of her child, Jaz found herself on the abortion table forced to get an abortion by those she loved. Just as they were preparing her for the IV and the ultrasound, Jaz sobbing asked the nurse to show her the ultrasound screen. The abortion nurse refused and said there was nothing to see and in just a little while her problem would be a thing of the past. Jaz continued to cry and jumped out of the bed. The abortionist came in the room and said that she was acting as a spoiled child and to get a grip. At this point she pushed the nurse and said "I am not going to kill my baby." The nurse told her she would not get her money back but she should "sleep on it" and return the next day to finish the procedure. Jaz left that horrible place very confused and was not sure if they had started the abortion. She called a friend that had just had a baby who happened to have been one of our patients. Cary brought Jaz to our clinic and to the glory of God, her 8 week old baby was still in her womb and alive! Choosing life for her baby caused her to be homeless during a very sensitive time, the Christmas holidays. Her parents could not accept her decision and removed all support making her leave the house. Her friend took her in and we opened our heart and home to Jaz as well. She was very vulnerable and yet very strong in her conviction to protect her baby and trust in the Lord Jesus who she accepted as her Lord and Savior. In spite of her circumstances, Jaz graduated from Miami-Dade College last June and registered at Florida International University with a full scholarship to pursue her dream of being a Pharmacist. On August 4th, Jaz gave birth to a precious little girl and we were able to witness the reconciliation between Jaz, her parents and her baby's father. Little Rosabella will soon glorify the Lord for the courage and boldness of her young mother who defended her innocent life with a strong and profound unselfish love.

Hola Amigos,

La madre Teresa de Calcuta una vez dijo "El mayor destructor de la paz hoy en día es el aborto. Es una guerra contra la criatura y un asesinato directo de niños inocentes."

Jesús vino para darnos VIDA, y nosotros debemos proteger la vida de estos bebés en riesgo de ser abortados. Muchas de las mujeres que vienen a las Clínicas de Embarazo de Heartbeat of Miami se ven obligadas por otra persona a poner fin a la vida de su bebito. Dios nos ha dado la oportunidad de intervenir y salvar tanto a ese bebito de la muerte física como a la madre de una muerte espiritual.

La historia de este mes es muy querida para mípersonalmente. Esta es la historia de una muchacha que arriesgo todo para salvar la vida de su bebé. Jaz, tenía 18 años de edad y era una estudiante becada en la universidad local esforzándose por continuar con buenas calificaciones y seguir con su beca completa para estudiar Farmacia en Gainsville. Jaz quedo embarazada de su primer y único novio. Asustada y sin el apoyo de sus padres o el padre de su criatura, Jaz se encontró en la cama de un negocio de aborto forzada por aquellos que ella amaba a hacerse un aborto. Mientras la preparaban con el suero y el ultrasonido Jaz llorando le pidió a la enfermera que le mostrara la pantalla de ultrasonido. La enfermera de aborto se negó y le dijo que no había nada que ver y en sólo unos minutos su problema sería una cosa del pasado. Jaz continuó a llorar y se tiro de la cama. El abortista entro en la habitación y le dijo que estaba actuando como una niña malcriada y que se controlara. En ese momento ella empujó a la enfermera y dijo "No voy a matar a mi bebé." La enfermera le dijo que no le devolvían su dinero, pero que regresara al día siguiente para finalizar el procedimiento. Jaz salió de ese lugar espantoso pero no sabía si habían empezado el aborto y estaba muy confundida. Ella llamó a una amiga que acababa de tener un bebé y era una de nuestras pacientes. Ella trajo Jaz a nuestra clínica y para la gloria de Dios, su bebé de 8 semana todavía estaba en su vientre y con vida! Elegir vida para su bebé le costó perder su hogar durante la época tan difícil de las Navidades. Sus padres no podían aceptar su decisión y eliminaron todo el apoyo echándola de su casa. Su amiga la llevó con ella y nosotros le abrimos a Jaz nuestro corazón y nuestro hogar. Ella estaba muy vulnerable pero con una fuerte convicción de proteger a su bebé confiando en Jesús al cual acepto como su Señor y Salvador. A pesar de sus circunstancias, Jaz se graduó de la Universidad de Miami-Dade el pasado junio y se registro en la Florida International University con una beca completa para seguir su sueño de ser una Farmacéutica. El 4 de agosto, Jaz dio a luz a una preciosa niña y fuimos testigo de la reconciliación entre Jaz, sus padres y el padre de su bebita. Rosabella muy pronto glorificara al Señor por la valentía y la audacia de su joven mama quien la defendió antes de nacer con un amor fuerte y profundo sin pensar su propio interés.
